Skin Tyte

Skin Tyte is an exciting new technology that accomplishes just what the name implies—it makes your skin look tighter and feel firmer, with little or no down-time. A noninvasive treatment, Skin Tyte uses pulsed infrared light energy to rejuvenate sun-damaged and aged skin, as well as decrease patches of facial and neck redness.

How does Skin Tyte work?
Skin Tyte uses broadband light to selectively heat the collagen in your skin, causing it to partially contract, regenerate and realign, creating a tightening to the skin. At the same time, the Skin-Tyte process cools the outer layer of skin before, during and after treatment, to reduce pain and minimize any damage to adjacent or surface areas of skin.

How is it performed?
You will receive a soothing anesthetic gel to prevent pain. The treatment takes about 45 minutes per area.
Is there anyone who shouldn’t get Skin Tyte treatments?

In general, Skin Tyte should not be delivered to those who are dark skinned, darkly tanned or are prone to keloid scars and hyperpigmentation or hypopigmentation.

How many treatments will I need?
Most people undergo four to five sessions, each spaced about three to four weeks apart. You may also need follow-up treatment over time to continue the effective tightening.

What results can I expect?
You may feel that your skin is tighter after a single treatment, but more visible improvements take place over three to six months.

Skin Tyte can treat a variety of skin imperfections, including (but not limited to) Rosacea, flushed skin, fine facial lines and wrinkling.

What is recovery like?
During the treatment you may experience temporary discomfort, and immediately afterwards you may have redness of the skin. This usually lasts less than 24 hours, although it can continue up to three days. Most patients can return to work or school the same day or following day. Recovery is improved and will be faster with an appropriate home skin care regimen.
